I'm gonna’ take another guess that they use an electrically heated salt bath crucible furnace for a more uniform and fast heat treatment under exclusion of air. This mystery "transversion wave temper" is really intriguing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot of big words thrown around in this thread. I think people use those big words just to sound impressive. Everyone knows the Secret Heat Treatment is done with pyramids and mirrors.
