I have not played with this one enough to really say mate, it would certainly be ammunition dependent. I think 185s would be best as the 230s drop like rocks.... LOL I use this to produce brass to reform into 38/45JWH for my 1911... wink

Hmmm that is an interesting little round sounds like a bigger badder version of the 357 sig. How much does it shorten the life of the brass?

Lots, seems each case is inly good for 3-5 reloads now. It is a pretty stressful transformation.

The only thing in .45 acp that I have owned is a FNP45. Never having had a .45 acp pistol I got it because it was a large capacity .45 that felt pretty good in hand. I haven't shot it in a few years though. It just isn't my caliber of choice. I still really want a CZ97B though. That CZ97 is a good looking firearm and it seems like it would make for a good option for the night stand.

As for revolvers I think a S&W 627 will be what I'm going with.

Yeah it seems like they would stress that neck out pretty quick. I may look into it more though would be a nice carry round in a 1911 with just a barrel change needed.

I've been wanting a EAA Witness for a while now. The ones I've seen locally all had a $100 or so added to the tag.

Those Sarslimaz pistols got down to some pretty low prices for a while if I recall. Just googled it... Basically a Witness for $250 and accepts CZ newer style mags is what I just read. I also didn't know there was a steel version at some point. I can't say I have seen many if any bad reviews on any if the CZ pistols or the clones.

Already blew my budget with a scope and some knick knacks so I'm just talking. I think...

You know, I do still need to replace my M&P40 with a full sized 9mm like I had intended. I was also leaning towards a Hi-Power clone for a budget pistol purchase at some point. Mostly just something not too expensive to have here or there when needed. There's a HiPower clone called the Arcus DA98 that gets some decent marks and has a metal frame that I was leaning towards. I liked the idea of the added heft but realistically I'm not tough enough on any of my gear to think it matters that much. And seeing as how a CZ75 SP-01 is still very high in my list for a main 9mm full sized carry pistol the SAR actually seems a more attractive fit. Shared mags and similar build and all...

Definitely something to think about for the b-day....

I am more than impressed with it for the 240 I paid you cant even come close to it. Buds gun shop still has some decent prices on them, I got it because I wanted a in between carry piece and after some range time I think it will more than suffice.

Just ordered a Haley Strategic Partners DC3 chest rig and the trimmings. Got a discount so I decided to try it. Also got my g-code incog in the mail at my folks. Will pick it up later this week. Also got a double pistol mag holder from them.

Any day I'm above the grass and I'm not a zombie is a good day! JYD#138
