I have a semi custom blade from Stitch Knives and it is pure function (Elmax steel) in a smaller package (he also sent out one of his 1/2 tang blades that is with my best mate for field testing - as he gets to dress far more deer than I...!!!

I will probably add a GSO to my collection down the road.

When I was whittling down my collection, my key 4" choices were a Howling Rat or Esee 4. The GSO would easily have been on the short list too. It's impressed me a lot.

I think Patty has brain damage. I was looking at a Sarsquatch on the X and Patty said I could get it! Is it worth a knife worth having, MAYBE as a Pack blade?

IF I've read it right, .187 inch thick 7 inch long blade made of INFI.

I STILL haven't decided though. I'm really wanting a 4 inch or so edc blade but I am cheap so it's hard for me to actually take her up on this until I have REALLY made up my mind on what I want to get. I DO think I have the 7inchish size filled now. I am very well pleased.

Architect and Tom are two of the best folks to deal with there are.

I would get a SARsquatch if the timing was right, but it never is. One day....

The SARsquatch is a great blade. I wish I had kept the competition one I had. Minus the swedge, it approaching perfection!

I have a SARsquatch. It is an OUTSTANDING knife, but isn't what I would define as suitable for bushcrafting. It is a near ideal "general purpose survival knife", but is too large for small tasks.

I agree about the swedge. I really don't understand its purpose.

Hmmmm I've been thinking again, yes it's dangerous but we live in dangerous times.

Large blade........BWM
Medium/med small...Sarsquatch or BATAC.
Small blade........AMS or leaner meaner

Good enough?

I have started to become enamored of the Sarsquatch, but alas I fear the one I asked about may be gone. Haven't heard back from the seller yet and I sent him a message yesterday evening.

Oh and I saw a prototype Ashtac 6.5 that looked nice, but to rich for my blood! (at least from that seller)
