I read thru this thread, and must have missed it.....
What is the grind? The picture doesn't look like the standard Yard Saber? Gary, I think it is the same as the regular Mud Mutt.

So, I'm a little confused as to the specs on these after looking at the storefront…..
Are these the same blade length as original Mud Mutt? Safety Mutt is listed at 5.25" and Mud Mutt at 5".

AFF, I figure they are the same except for the handle color. The difference in blade length COULD be attributed to who sharpens the blade, or which measuring stick they used. Personally I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, it's only a half inch we're talking about but….. it confused me when it said that it shared the same blade length and then the specs said it was .25" longer…..

I pulled the trigger and put one on order the other day. I saw someone had a black handled MM that must have been a Blade only option? I really like the mudder handles it would be cool if they offered it as an option on the knives they release. I like the sheaths they offer it fits a lot of the knives I own already gives me another option to carry my RMD LE's they fit nicely in em.

SY66, the black handled Mud Mutts were gifted to the Mods by Dan. Far as I know we are the only ones that have the black handled ones.
