Wow, that's quite a list!
I'd send you my CS FFG Rodent 4, but I sent it in for warranty work back in March, along with two other knives to have custom work done.

I am considering buying a Fallkniven F1 or H1 for the testing. However, this has become a VERY expensive project. Personally, I would stay away from Fällkniven. Except for their Idun, which supposedly is great. Too britle an edge, and Kraton is inferior to Res-c and Forprene as handlematerial. But I see, that your final list has left 'em out. BUT THAT IS SOME LIST Do you plan to a massive Bushcraft knife review?

No worries Adam, but thanks for thinking of me.
Rasmus, I am assembling knives for a review that will be posted in a separate thread after I've completed the evaluations.

You need a ScrapMuk on there.
My Muk needs to go somewhere and get a better edge than I can put on it.

Lazi, Thanks for the offer. It would be great to have a Muk in the test. I responded to your PM with my test procedure, etc.
EVERYONE, Please feel no pressure whatsoever to send loaners to me. Those who've volunteered their knives - there will be no hard feelings if you change your mind!
This is shaping up to be a pretty broad evaluation!

The more I look at them, the more I think I am liking the SOB and the BATAC.

OK, you have three choices.
1. BATAC 2. SAR 5 3. SOB WHICH ONE AND WHY?
I didn't get the Sarsquatch so I'm broadening my search although the Sarsquatch is still in the running.
I figure that this blade length 4-5 inches and then jumping to the 7 inch range would get the most use. This is just an exercise as to why each of these may be preferred.

I'd drop the SAR-5 and SOB from consideration. I have a SAR-5 and BATAC. The BATAC has a lot more capability.
The SAR-5 is "neater", but I think it has limitations. You'll see this when I publish my evaluation.

I don't care for the SOB for a variety of issues. Namely, I think it is grossly overpriced.

I was thinking the SOB and SAR-5 didn't seem quite right but can't really say why.
