Gary I'm not sure what BATAC you have. It's not a CG and I don't see a number so it isn't an LE. I can't find anything cept it's got a 5 inch blade. How thick is it?

I figure I'll just stick with my Scrapper 6 for my "Wilderness" belt carry blade, but loose the leatherman. I should probably put it back in it's pouch and carry it on the off side to counter balance the S6! wink

I need to quite whining and stick with what I've got. I COULD get any of the knives I've mentioned above, but I don't think I would ever really give them a workout they deserve. Now that's not saying I still wouldn't like to have a ... .. ..... but it would just wind up being a truck blade MOST of the time and not get used that much. Oh well, If we couldn't dream what's the use of hallucinating. wink

I REALLY like my two BATACs. One is skinny and one a little plumper (standard production). The Skinny one is exceptionally nice and seems to strike a nicer balance in hand than the standard. I have a comp finish SOB getting ready to make the journey across the big pond so we shall see when it arrives.

I should probably mention, as I have been remiss in not doing so, that I think the ASH1 would work well here too.... wink

Both of my BATAC are satin with 0.25" blades. I need to confirm this with my mic.

My BATAC measure 3/16".

3/16 inch. Now that's a good thickness for a blade that size.

I thought my two current BATAC satins felt a lot better in the hand than the LE I sold a few months ago. I'm glad I checked the thickness because I think it's going to help sell them.
