Idk about the new remington. Just don't see how it's dealing is an improvement.

So here is a question for you guys... Two glocks sitting on a table in your favorite caliber. One is a gen3 and one is a gen4.... Which would you pick and why!

Gen 3 for reliability.

So I was talking with a gun smith and he said the finish on the gen3 is better. That
Hardened steel is thicker along with the paint. Anyone heard of that?

Gen 3.

Unreliable gimmicks need not apply.

Gen 3 without doubt. I have an overview knowledge of around 17,000+ Gen3s in use and it is really hard to fault them. Also very detailed knowledge of around 100 that are on a training cycle. They have had the bejesus shot out of them. Each revolver to SLP course is a minimum of 900 rounds per shooter, they get shot lots !!! Yes in the early days we kabooomed 20 !!! But that was all about cast projectiles and cleaning, a change to plated/jacketed saw that go away overnight. My personal 17 is also a Gen3 and and after toying with a Gen4 recently I will be buying ANOTEHR Gen3. They fit my hand well (again that is always personal) so no need to change.

This is the only reason I don't own 3 or more glocks, they do not feel right other than that they are pretty much bullet proof (pun intended).

Glad I'm not the only one not on the gen4 band wagon. When I felt the gen4 I just didn't like the new recoil assembly and the way it effected the slide movement.
Maybe I can find a rough textured frame glock to fill my desire for a frame with more grip.

So another can of worms here... Glock vs M&P pistols?
