Man, those guys are tough! Kinda upset me though. Oh well it's THEIR forum.

Yeah, the other day I kind of danced around the line with a moderator at the Becker subforum about the verbiage in their rules. I'm actually surprised that I didn't get an infraction by the way they were reacting to my totally innocent comments. One guy basically told me to go back to Busseland, even though I never mentioned the word "Busse", nor did I say anything negative about BK&T or their forum and members.

What makes it confusing is that the main forum has rules and the various sub- forums also have their own rules. I was reading a knife makers sub forum one day where a mod moved a political post to the political forum. When the knife maker reminded him that this was HIS forum and he allowed any posts, the mod moved the post back. So, even a mod can be confused. Don't let this bother you too much. The guy who made the Busse comment is not a mod. And most of the mods there are reasonable.

I know he wasn't a mod, and I'm also quite familiar with the mod that posted in that thread. His own people don't even like him. A while back there was almost a mutiny against him. He actually acted quite civil during our brief exchange yesterday, but the other guy rubbed me the wrong way. I dropped it because I wasn't there to ruffle any feathers. I usually stay away because of the way they act there.

Nice snag on the San Mai, BTW. I always seem to be too late grin

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind if I decide I don't like it.

How do you like the Roselli Axe? I've been meaning to "axe" you.

Please do. I like the axe. It has a thick wedge shape so it is great for splitting. I have not used it for chopping yet.

I immediately thought of that axe when you said you always seem to he too late, because that's exactly how I felt when you snagged that one. It's an interesting looking axe.

Lately I've been looking at the Wetterlings Les Stroud Bushcraft Axe. It's overpriced, for obvious reasons, but I like the concept.

That one is nice but pricey. I have a Husqvarna with 15" Handle that works well and wasn't expensive. About $40 when I bought it. I don't have any large axes anymore.

Well, I'm glad I have fairly simple rules.
1. Eat regularly.
2. Eat well.

Hey greaser, if you haven't done so already take a trip to the VA too. I finally decided to swallow my pride and did the same. I've been able to manage the pain myself for years, then I realized that this , and a few others, are just pregressively getting worse. And they're all service related. At some point I'm going to need some assistance and it wouldn't be a smart idea to wait until that happens to start the process.

A friend referred me to a Veterans Services Officer of the Community Services Department of Texas. He's been a huge help.

I am getting 10 percent for a strained back according to the VA while getting shots every 3 months from a specialist for disks pressing against my spine they are helping a lot for now but I am still POed at the VA for essentially calling me a lier.
