We go back to the punch cards when CAD goes down. Dispatchers hate it with a passion.

We just write everything down and then go back and enter it into CAD when it comes back up

We just note in the calls that it's a delayed entry due to CAD being down

Most of the folks here use a note pad and then type it into the radio logs when time permits. On my shift I can direct input most calls.

We run two screens. One for MULES (statewide database and interface to the nationwide system) and the other is our radio (station) logs and other programs.

When our computer goes down the deputies talk directly to another agency that runs the traffic for them.

Our new center has 6 screens for each station, and the supervisor station has an extra one that shows up on the 55 inch monitors around the room.

I can put up a screen from any station, or just flip the television on the big monitors.

27 miles outside the extradition limit so we gotta talk to the judge in the morning. Don't know if they will hold him or not.

Our Troopers have the computers in their cars. They can pull up maps, plates and persons and they also print out their tickets.
