I know we don't have the tree mix here like they do back east, but the colors still aren't as brilliant as they were years ago.

We've got Maple, Ash, Oak, Hickory as our predominant trees here. Oh and a lot of black walnut.

There are a lot of cedar and pine trees, and Cypress in different areas, but they are not the predominant types.

The retired school teacher that lives next to us used to have three black walnut trees in her back yard. She finally got so fed up dealing with them and had them cut down. We could make our own Black Walnut Ice cream.
