Have to pick up a PSA lower this week. Now I need to figure out what upper to pair it with...that and how I'll pay for one Looking at PSA or Hardened Arms. I'm cheap and I've seen good reviews.

I have a deal pending on SCAR17. Fingers crossed and such...
If this doesn't scratch the itch then I probably wont bother with another semi auto .308 rifle. I was already starting to think of sinking these funds into a nice bolt rifle and scope.

Spider-Pig,
I was drooling over the SASR. Unfortunately, I don't have the disposable income yet to validate the purchase of another .308 :\

One of our Deputies bought himself a KSG for his Birthday. NICE! He brought it in to show me. I couldn't believe how smooth it was being so new. ONLY drawback I saw (I ONLY Handled it for about 5 minutes) was that it will take a VERY high mount set of front and rear sights or some type of optical sight.

A SCAR 17 would definitely stop that itch...for a while. Good luck on your pending deal.

Spider-Pig,
I was drooling over the SASR. Unfortunately, I don't have the disposable income yet to validate the purchase of another .308 :\ I heard that. I've been selling stuff that isn't getting used in order to come up with the money. I'm so close. Right now I'm just waiting for a friend of mine to scrape together enough cash to buy some of my stuff. Once that happens the Hunter is mine. The only gripe I've heard about the GII's is that they're over gassed, just like all other DPMS rifles.

Yes. People are successfully addressing the issue with adjustable gas blocks. They function fine on their own, but some people like just enough gas for the rifle to function properly, and some people couldn't care less.
