Yes those are some that I'm looking at. I'm also looking at some Heinnie straight 8 night sights. I just haven't decided yet.

Those wouldn't be for me. I have a real hard time getting the front sight centered in the rear square notch. That's why I like the shallow V so much. Well that and my bb guns and my 30-30 all had that type of sight.

I think they were called "Buckhorn" sights back then.

I would love some straight 8s
Due to being a small hand guy is like a shorter distance between the face of the trigger to the back of the grip where the web of you hand wedges in. Noticed the zev trigger shortened it a little. I was talking to the smith at one of the local shops and he said he wouldn't replace the factory guide rod unless building a compotition gun. He said don't fix what ain't broke lol.

Randy. My dad has a gen2 g23 that is older than I am (atleast 21yr) he has countless rounds through it and he has actually carried it so much the slide has spots that are silver... He has the factory guide rod in it and it still runs like a machine.

I know it would all be good to go as it is Mike, but just a small tweak here or there makes it special. There are many like it, but this one is mine...

The tungsten gr is really just to help control muzzle flip.

Well the best thing to control muzzle flip is porting. I had a Springfield Armory Ultra Compact V10 (10 holes in the barrel not counting the big one!) but I'll never have another.

It kept your front sight dirty all the time PLUS if you tried to shoot it from the retention position it would tear your side up like there was no tomorrow!

I got my CCW and have been carrying since Friday. Certainly is different. Glad I did it though.

Oh and NO I don't know that from first hand experience, but from qualifying from the barricade position.
