Take your time and buy a used Glock 27 or 23. You can't break a Glock. The Kahr is not a bad choice but I think you will be happier with a Glock. Mags are cheap and can interchange. You can also buy a different caliber barrel and have two guns in one. They are super easy to work on and user friendly. I am a police officer, Glock Armour and instructor of 15 years and love them. Just my two cents.

FYI all shooting that involve death will automatically go to a grand jury.

You only are required to escape if your state law demands that. Here in Indiana you can now stand your ground and are not required to "escape".

Missouri is in process of passing the same law. I am not convinced that will satisfy a DA looking to be a pain. St. Louis County would not issue CCW permits for almost 2 years after the law passed. They claimed a "funding issue", but in truth the Cheif and a bunch of pliticians were against it. Safest bet is to make an incident your absolute last resort.

I’ve had a carry permit for almost 10 years now. Most of the time I carry a Colt .380 Stainless Pocketlite. Sometimes I carry a Taurus 85 hammerless .38, or a Glock 17. The .380 holster is a pocket holster. I love it. I got it on eBay years ago.

I just bought a S&W 642 Airweight 38 Special online, should be a comfy summer carry.

I carry a 5 inch 1911. The holster makes all the difference in keeping it concealed. I actually have more problems with extra magazines printing than with the gun. I have been told that it helps to be 6'3 220 pounds like I am but whatever.

All this talk of you will go to court and blah blah is not totally true. I have read many a story about people getting off very clean on defensive shootings. A lot of it depends on the state you live in.
