On one side, I do believe in a free market but on the other side, I could never in fair conscience gouge someone like that. A few bucks for your trouble, sure I get that, but a 30-50% mark up? Yikes!

Guys, you really need to stop as this has always been the reality of the Busse Market. They only make a very small amount of a lot of the show items, so it would only make sense that people are willing to pay more for it. Which in turn allows the dealers to ask more for it.

If somebody is asking more for something than you would like to pay, then don't buy it. Don't jump on the forums and complain about people who choose to markup items for whatever their reasons may be. You guys need to tell me a single item you've bought that wasn't marked up before it got to you.

That simple really, I think the wrong thing to do is jump on the forums and whine about it. I don't believe it is in the spirit of the Yard either, because we're beating a dead horse at this point…...

Chris, I was answering a question as to why there were no pictures. As you well know, there were PLENTY of pictures from the even bigger Blade show, unlike Knob Creek. In the past, I have actually defended the right of the re-sellers to buy the majority of certain models; after all, their money is as green as anyone else's. I even defended Liu Kang, though I didn't agree with his style. I have also purchased from a few of the big re-sellers, though i won't do it again.

I agree that we are "beating a dead horse" and would not have even posted much about Knob Creek, but your post here and Eric taking a shot at me over at Bladeforums compelled me to respond. I would just as soon see the entire matter dropped.

I agree that there can and will be a certain amount added by the resellers but it´s just fair to know the official prices they pay eather...that´s some sort of checks and balances to get them not to be over greedy ;P
