Thanks Grease. I know it's kinda silly, but I'm concerned. The ONLY thing between us and "The outside" is a glass door and a sliding tempered glass window. I am literally setting about 8 feet from the outside glass door.

Well Just found some good news via FB from a cousin.
discovered the name of my Great Great Grandpa! My Grandpa's Grandpa. Immigrated from Germany (lived in Baden) to New York In January 1857.
So, NOW I know the name of my Dad's Grandpa (on his side) AND My Grandpa's Grandpa on Grandpa's Grandma's side.
This is kinda neat stuff.

So NOW, counting My adopted Son I can now count our family back 6 (is that right) generations.
1. My adopted son
2. Me
3. Dad
4. Grandpa
5. Grandpa's Dad (Great Great Grandpa)

I think I have this right. What ever Great Great it is, It goes back to 1832 in Germany. This stuff is giving me a headache!
