Well first off, and MAYBE the only thing, is that the entire gun will be against your body. The only thing between the gun and your skin would be your shorts and or a T shirt of some kind. Some folks don't wear a T-shirt underneath another one.
Other than that I really like the simplicity of it.

I didn't like the idea of having something stuck in the barrel but itS is a carry device and not something you should leave on the night stand. They do have a trigger guard attachment but I use the safety on my Shield so I opted to not use that part. And nope, I wouldn't recommend going commando but that's with or without this holster in mind .

The "Plug" retention device doesn't bother me. I was just concerned about nothing between the weapon and your skin. I sweat like a well a certain type of woman at a prayer meeting so that would always be a consideration for me. BUT, like you said for a quick trip to the store or out to the mailbox or what not, it would work out pretty well. PLUS like me, I could carry that way at work as I always have me shirt tucked in. Oh well Maybe I should only get one for my 45.

I was considering picking up one of those holsters. I understand there is a company that sells a Kydex trigger pocket thingy of sorts, that clips around the trigger guard of the pistol and ties to the holster via dummy cord. I can't locate it right now, but if I can track it down I'll bring it up here. might make the versacarry a little more safe covering the trigger.

My wife told me to order my own Christmas presents. Well. I am going to make my AR-pistol more usable.
Sig Brace and I may talk her into a new free floated handguard.
I am thinking a Midwest Industries SS Gen II with a 7 INCH Barrel I am debating between a 7 inch and a 9 inch handguard.

Just got my Sig brace. Highly recommend it. What caliber are you running in the pistol and for what purpose?
Not sure what happened to my lower--my FFL didn't send the copy of his license yet and it's been over 3 weeks. His wife walked out and he'll be unemployed and homeless by 31 December. I've called hI'm a couple times to check in but no response to my last call. If I'm holding together after work I'll probably stop over and check in.

I am running a 5.56. It started as a toy and now its actually managed to become a viable PDW.
