Sorry DT. It's not to bad. Good glass for the money. But not tacticool.
Eye relief is pretty good. I had it on my 870 sabot barrel but wanted to try a red dot so took it off. The one thing I learned though is I like illuminated rectical.

I think I'd do the same. It's a good time of year to pick up the aim point pros on sale and cabelas has a good sale on an eotech model. Can't go wrong with a quality dot on a AR pistol.

Sure you can...like dropping 350--450 on an aimpoint or eotech grin I think I'll keep my eye out for a sale or a used Nikon Slughunter. 200 new (at Natchez) or 160 like new (on gunbroker) gets me in a lot less trouble grin Stil less than a Primary Arms red dot + UTG magnifier (or at least the same ballpark) and probably better quality.

I have been hearing good things about the Vortex Sparc and Sparc II. Red Dots they run 150 to 200. Supposedly fairly rugged and hold zero.

I have read a few realistic "torture" tests and they did far above what I would have expected.

I will probably pick one up for a pistol or carbine when I can afford it.

With the recent builds and Christmas coming up it will be a while.
