Yeah for a "Short" machete it is great. But for my, for limbing things and such the 911 works just a tad better. I know it's just in my head but the 911 seems just a bit more robust. Plus you don't need as much space to swing the 911 Vs the 1311.

He is doing okay
Him and his girlfriend are going through a bit of a rough patch right now but they are working on it
He is a real nice guy but according to him he needed to quit drinking during the week
He seemed to have had a good time with us

I almost bought an Outcast once, but now I'm glad I got another Yard blade instead.
