I have to constantly remind myself that I am not better than anyone, that there are just folks who haven't been as fortunate in life as I have. It can be a very humbling thought at times when I "Get in my high horse".

Trust me though, Patty makes sure my horse has short legs!

Yeah Patty is a good story teller. Sides, it's fun making fun of myself at times. I would rather people laugh than be sad.

I always try to think
Do I want my kids to see me like this

Or some similar thought

I do the same
You never know how your actions can affect someone else
I want the legacy I leave to be a positive one

Yeah, my Sarcasm has toned down a lot since Lucy had become a Myna bird!

Yeah I would like for someone to attend my funeral without having to be paid!

I really love this poem

after the sorrow passes
I want my kids to say "remember when dad........" and then smile

I try to be "that uncle" for my nephews and nieces as well
