Blade forum is down, but I got the email! I can't believe I have a chance for an ASH-1 without the flippers inflation. Every time I've seen one on the exchange at a decent price, I'm to slow, and a dealer (that doesn't want to admit he's a dealer) grabs it up and sells it later for more. Sorry, I'm done, it's been bugging me for a while.

Lot of fine blades there, but the only 2 that interest me is the

(36) Swamp Rat Ratweiler CG Terror Monkey Edition
(32) Scrap Yard SYKCO 511 (since the 511 is the only 11 series blade I don't have) Variant with the Rat being in first place!

I also like
(3) Busse Combat Anniversary Mean Street with Busse Industrial Grade “B.I.G” Satin Finish but I would want Tan Canvas handle slabs.

I wanted to like the Ash, but I have one .220 thick blade (Boss Street) but don't like how handle heavy it is. So unless I can get the handle lightened up enough (still thinking about having Norcalblacktail do his water jet treatment to it) I might get rid of it. The AMS would be perfect but I am afraid that I wouldn't like the 3.5 inch blade after I got it. I DO like the BS, except for the weight.

Hope Jerry has an ASH for me. The 711 and TM Ratweiler are also appealing.

I wonder what happened to black canvas Micarta. There doesn't seem to be a single offering with it.

My fav has to be the bolo-esque 911. Everything else is just dipping into my B8 fund...although the BIG NMFSH is teasing me quite a bit. Not sure I'd ever use the darn thing though. WISH I could get a BIG AK...I'd jump.

Some of the Ganza puppies look good but if I go for anything I'm likely going to try and gobble gobble some BIG ASH in this one.

Had I known BIG NMFSH (at that price) would be a reality "back when" I'd really have put more thought into my LE...but, in the end...I'm happy w/ my LE.
