Just one more reason I love living where I do! 22 years ago we bought an old farm/ranch, complete with some woods and a nice fishing pond. I never want to leave this place; i love it!

After many years of working long and lousy hours in Illinois, we decided there HAD to be a better way to live! So my wife and I discussed what we would like to do, developed a plan, and worked toward it until we achieved our goal. We have never been happier!

Howdy Ray. I suspect that you're pretty pleased where you're at as well.

I am one of the UNfortunate ones. I retired almost 21 years ago, but like you Mega Millionaires, I had to keep on working, in another career.

Time goes by much faster than you might think. I thought about saving for retirement when I was 21 but, at that time, I did not think I would make it to 65. The next time I seriously thought about it, I was 30 and decided that I still had pleanty of time. Then all of a sudden, I was 40. Not so much time left now. I put all I could spare into money markets, stocks and an IRA. It all worked out well and now I can spend time on the forums and think about buying Bussekin.
