I couldn't make it. Some of my peeps did though. I am heavily involved in the gun rights scene. One of us almost always goes. I am hoping I can be one of them this year.

I qualify on a couple of fronts to make the show. I just need to find a place to stay if I can get the time off.

The Persian is insane...literally whistles in the air as you slash. The Gentleman Jim is just great...does a ton well and is a mean, stabby thing too. The spear point is a 7 and seems like a utilitarian tank of a knife.

Don't see myself carrying the Persian, but it's just too cool for school!

The Gentleman Jim just looks like a wicked "Pig Sticker" and the Persian is as you said, just Savagely insane. The "7" is a great utility blade, as long as you get used to it wanting to push away from the cut, what with being ground on only one side the way it is.

The only time I really noticed it with the GJ and yesterday with the 7 was cutting carrots or something else pretty firm.

It will also push away on cardboard and poster board. Basically anything hard or firm.
