You have worse winter weather than we do up north! High is supposed to be in the mid forties today.

My wife and I went to Canada on our honeymoon and I smoked Cuban cigars there. They were great but so expensive that I'm glad I couldn't buy them back home.

My nephew was telling me about a "cigar gala" in Florida in early February, and trying to get me to go to the gig with him. He says that several "top dogs" of various cigar companies will be there, as well as some Cuban cigars. Tempting.

They are a lot of fun. Usually good cigars, food and drink.

I started smoking cigars in 1980 after I had quit smoking cigarettes. This was before the cigar craze had hit the counyry. My favorite cigars were about $2-$5 each. My favorite brand was Arturo Fuente. Fuente cigars doubled in price and doubled again and became scarce. La Gloria Cubana became impossible to find. I used to enjoy sitting in the backyard with a glass of Port or scotch and smoking a cigar.

I REALLY enjoy Arturo Fuente Hemingways, but are just too rich for my blood.

They were one of my favorites also but when I first started smoking them, they were cheap. But they skyrocketed in price.

That's funny from someone who has at least one or two of every Bussekin ever made!
