Now New Years, surprisingly enough, it will probably be pretty tame. Folks around here are starting to realize it is NOT a good thing to drive while they have been/are drinking.

That's good to hear. I was reading on another forum and was going to post a "Merry Christmas", but a member posted the story of his son who died horribly due to drinking and driving. Their lives have been turned upside-down; it was so sad that I couldn't bring myself to post anything.

Over the years I have had 3 18 year olds standing in front of me who were driving while impaired and had at least one of their friends die in the car wreck where they were the driver. One kid was the lone survivor out of 4.

I made the mistake of drinking Iced Tea at a club once. It was called "Long Island Iced Tea". Hey, I was from Podunk Missouri and didn't know any better.

I have gotten to buying my (sugar free) diet tea by the gallon. $1.48 and it will last me about a week at least.
