Nah. We spent WAY to much on Christmas this year. Our "reserve" is WAY WAY down.

Did you get in on the "Busse bucks"? Well??? Nope, opted out on this for the reason stated above. But I MIGHT still send in my Boss Street in to Norcalblacktail to have the handle lightened. I REALLY like that knife, but it is so handle heavy.

That's one of the reasons I would like to see them use nice wooden handles; they would be lighter and better looking.

Hmmmmm. You know I could maybe have him lighten it and put on some wood slabs. That would probably help out quite a bit.

Jared was replacing several knives with micarta scales over to beautiful wood scales. In fact, Justin is going to custom make another Bowie for me, but using wood burl scales this time.

I wonder if you can get Bamboo thick enough for handles. It would be light weight and should last forever.

IF it wasn't so expensive I would see about getting it put in a surface grinder and taken down to about .185 from .220
