Uh... We're starting to save up (HOPEFULLY) for an early fall visit to the Smoky mountains again. It'll probably cost us 2 grand or a bit over. Taking Patty on her second ever vacation is more important to me that going to blade although I would like to attend one day. I've just got my priorities that I'm going to do. MY wants can wait.

Kind of waited a long time for that; how many years have you two been married?

We might take a trip toward the Smokies ourselves this year. My Company in VietNam is having a re-union in Pigeon Forge this year, and we might combine that with another week's vacation.

16 YEARS. When she was married before they never had enough money to take a vacation. Her first husband wasted more money that you could shake a stick at. And Us. We struggled for quite some time and then she wouldn't go any place for a real vacation because of Penny (our first dog). Now with bella, it's easier since she is so small.

Well, none of us are getting any younger, so enjoy life together as much as possible.

Yeah, that's why I keep putting Blade on the back burner. I want to spend time with her while I've got her. With the medical problems she has it could go south real fast.

Well, enjoy the cold weather; at least the ticks and chiggers aren't a problem!
