This sounds like me on Sunday. USUALLY when I get up for work at 10:30pm Saturday night I don't go back to sleep until close to that time on Sunday. Just the way it is for me most of the time. Just another example of how strong your faith is Thank You Bill. I take that as a complement. I'm not anywhere close to the way our faith says I should be, but I try. That I think, is what differentiates us from others. We KNOW we will fall short but as long as we continue to try and ask for forgiveness and are truthful in our admissions we will be held in good stead. This isn't saying we can do anything we want and still be "Good" but must actually be trying. It gets complicated, specially for me, to explain it. I don't recall a scripture that's states we need to be perfect or that life is easy Working nights could be used as an excuse to miss church For you, church is too important Acts vs words

Cept for me, I don't have sleep cycles I just try and lay down and try to sleep at more or less the same time every day. Even when I was getting up at 4:30 - 5:00am for work I still normally went to bed at midnight to 1am Do that for weeks and every once in awhile I would just crash on a Sunday I have been known to do that as well. Once Patty heard someone at the back door (and there was, we found out later) she hollered for me 3 times before I got up and when I did I stumbled around like a drunk for about 3 minutes.

YOU understand Bill. But a lot of folks think "Christians" need to be perfect or they aren't Christians, but Hypocrites. Talking the talk but NOT walking the walk.

Thomas, one of our sasquatch crew works 10pm until 6am
Sometimes when we head out at 7:30 - 8:00am and don't get back until late
He looks zonked especially if we did a bunch of hiking I USUALLY do pretty good for Sunday School and Morning service, but by that night I am usually fading in and out and miss some things. But I need to keep trying, and I do enjoy the sermons. Pauline's "uncle" that just passed was actually her dad's cousin Her dad and two cousins were about the same age and grew up in the same town and we're best friends (only one is still with us) Anyway her dad's extended family are about half catholic and half Anglican Bill was Catholic so Thursday we were at church for about an hour, doing prayers and such and then Friday was services and mass Bill and his wife Joyce were/are devote and church is important to them

Man, things ARE getting bad, EVERYWHERE!
Just read on USA Today of a shooting spree in Moscow Idaho where three are dead. Also about where Boko Haram entered a Nigeria town and killed POSSIBLY as many as 2000 people!

I guess I better get my backside in gear. I just found out that a gunstore about 35 miles away is still in business and they have an indoor range. I am gonna give them a call and see if they can install new sights on my XDs. IF they can I guess I'll carry my Sig P225 and Kel-Tec (depending on my clothing) until I get it back from them.
