If it's these guys its a rip in the space time continuum. Next it could be dinosaurs. Yeah I know. But still, NORMALLY if anything was going on outside where we live, it would still be one of my Weatherby TRS shotguns. Now IF we got over ran by a gang of pikers or what ever, a GANG, it would be a different. But for normal "Bump in the night" it would be the shotty first.

I used to wonder why anyone would use an AR as a go to. I have to say that's my go to long gun. I can do a lot with an AR, From surgical to laying down a wall of hate and everything in between. But I also get some trigger time and formal training at least once a month.

Yeah, being to REGULARLY being able to practice, to keep the skill set up has a lot to do with weapon choice.
Like me. I carry a 45, because I like shooting that caliber. I also carry a 9mm. I shoot the 9mm better and am considering to adding my Sig P225 into the CCW mix. That would give me three different weapons to choose from.
1. Springfield XDs - 45acp
2. Kel-Tec PF9 - 9mm
3. Sig P225 - 9mm
