Hey guys,
looking into buying a Spyderco Endura 4.
Any advise to get the cheaper VG-10 (61$) or the around 30% more expensive ZDP-189 (89$)?
I read a lot of different things on the net, so now I´m asking the guys that really should know it wink
Thanks bros!

I have the ZDP-189 endura 4
I like it, but be aware the steel stains super easy
Mine stained just from sweat

Since mine is a user I don't care, but others might

Any of you Dogs score the new ZT 0452? I'm drooling over that one.

Also, over on BF Spyderco sub forum, there's a thread on new upcoming knives. They are coming out with a crazy cool Persian called the Mamba and an updated version of the Gayle Bradley that looks amazing.

The Mamba looks great, but HUGE! I don't know I could walk around with that. The Manix2 and The PM2 are about as big a folder I can have without the locals fainting...

Lot 'o' knife there for sure!

I got into bigger folders the last couple of years and my Para 2 and Griptilian are among my smaller folders now. That new ZT is no little fella either- the blade is over 4".

The Mamba design just looks awesome. Don't think I'll ever carry my Emerson Persian, but the design is just so cool I really enjoy it.

Its a "disemboweler"! Also the designers last name is supposedly pronounced "Thai"...so Sals getting a little risqué...

I will have the Spyderco Endura 4 and the Esee Avispa tomorrow to compete against my much beloved Ontario Rat1 Folder - looking forward to it!

Here's my new ZT with a couple other of my larger folders and a para 2 for scale...

It's a beautifully made knife and that blade is looooong and goes on forever. It's very slim in the pocket though and the handle is very comfortable. I was worried it would feel too narrow/small but the grip is excellent!

Man that is a nice blade Rich. But I think I would find the small Para more useful to me, at least most of the time. I have this weird blade for "Social Encounters" that I hope never happens.
