Nice. I keep thinking of a Mossberg 20 ga for the house.

I have a Mossy 20, model 500C. But alas, no barrel.

Looks good SP. How does it shoot?

Thanks guys.

I haven't shot it yet. Hopefully I can shoot it okay without having to install any of the stock spacers. I love the short overall length of this current setup. If I can't get a good cheek weld and shoot accurately the way it is now then I'll have to add some spacers.

Rich - I personally feel the 20 gauge is more than enough for home defense. The bad thing is ammo and aftermarket parts options. Does the 20 gauge mossy have a smaller frame than the 12 gauge?

The current upgrades are:

1) Upgraded internal parts to those used in Police models. Besides the extractor, I can't remember the nomenclature. Thank you, VANCE, for helping me in that department.

2) S & J Hardware jumbo safety.

3) S & J Hardware high visability anti-jam follower and spring.

4) Choate small forend.

5) Magpul SGA stock.

Now I need to explore options for mounting a light, and I'll probably upgrade to a fiber optic sight. Also, a Mesa Tactical side saddle shell carrier now that I ditched the long forend.
