Grease, I'm talking about the .308 version. I have a Colt AR15A3 in .223 already.

HOLY SMOKE! Just looked at mags on the Magpul site. 30 rounders for 15 bucks! But the question is, to window or not to window. And 20 or 30 rounders? Heck didn't know they were that cheap.

5.56? That's kind of high for non window actually now if you can get the windowed ones for that go for it.

I use 30 rounders and M3s are supposed to be better but I have not noticed a difference between them in performance.

There are three hand guard lengths. Carbine, mid length, and rifle. If you get the magpul carbine if it's a carbine hand guard it will swap out no problem.

Yeah, the hand guard on mine is short.

Probably a carbine length handgaurd then. It's standard across the industry, even with Colt having weird pin diameters, lol. Should drop in, no sweat. the MOE handgaurds install just like the standard handgaurds do, so unless you're getting a free float tube, it ought to be cake to put together.

Also, I love my Streamlight TLR-2s, for the record... I like having the option to use the strobe function, as well as the laser/light combo for fast hits. You would not be disappointed if you picked one up, but it does require a pic rail to mount. If you barrel mount, get an interface that goes to a picatinny.
