I'm thinking a Scrap-a-rucki or a Golok. Long and thin. Some great blades are made in 5160 and it will be interesting to see how the Busse heat treat raises the bar.

M/M, 52100 should hold an edge slightly better, but 5160 is considered tougher according to what I Googled. The heat-treating protocol is important, where Bussekin excels. They both will rust, but supposedly the 5160 will rust more evenly. I'm not afraid of 5160; it's a good spring-steel used by a lot of swordmakers.

5160 is a medium carbon spring steel. People make knives and swords of that steel. Choosing this steel indicates in my opinion that the next knife is going to be long. Though I was hoping it would be 6-7" and thin... Good blade steel and in the hands of Dan.... Well, I know I´m excited!
