Money isn't everything, but it IS a lot. Specially when you're talking 500 to 1000 rounds.

NO it doesn't. I am trying to be realistic in my weapon choices. Based upon our terrain and general lines of fire in this area. PLUS being a rural area with lots of houses and other assorted buildings the distance will not really be that great if ever needed to be called upon. PLUS with magazines of 17 or 20 rounds, heck even 30, you can put down a lot of hurt.

But I am having difficulty finding a reasonably priced 9mm round that is over 1200 fps in 124 grains.

Local store here has a case of 7.62x39 on for $189.99
I may have to pick up a cheap sks or "borrow" my brother's mini 14

Thanks Spidy. I saw a review of that by Hickock 45. I did some research and decided I wanted to go the Beretta route. I THINK sturdier gun and I just like the looks of the CX4 Storm.

From my experience, in a running gun fight, with the adrenaline pumping, 30 rounds can disappears in the blink of an eye.
