I love fall. It's my favorite season. I used to like winter too. I went snow camping a lot, skied a lot and for about 7 years went to a campground for New Year's and partied for a week. But now, I only like snow in my Snow Cones and ice in my drinks. I quess I have turned into a curmudgeon.

Morning Yard. Sad day in the Skunks Den. Patty started throwing up at 9pm last night and hasn't stopped since. Not as often now, but still... I've only seen her this sick once before, and turned out she had a parathyroid disease and they had to remove one of the parathyroid glands (you have 4).
We were called over Friday because her other Grandma "Had a case of food poisoning" along with the kids mom. WRONG. they had some kind of virus and now Patty has it. Yeah, I'm a little steamed.

Took her to the ER. They gave her two and a half bags of IV fluids, said "You've got a Virus" and to follow up with her doctor. Then on the way home her Doctor called and said he has her set up to see him tomorrow afternoon. I like Dr. Mike. He can only do so much, but he does is for the PATIENT'S benefit.
