I hear ya on that. The Sheriff has a gravel pit on his farm and has told Patty and I we can go there and look for rocks any time we want, PLUS he has told me it is a GREAT place to shoot. It's only 5 miles from home so I am gonna build a couple target holders and to there to practice.

Sorry lost my train of thought. The gravel pit isn't all that large, but some of the Piles are pretty easy to slip down.

A few years ago I picked up a walking stick from Trail of Tears State Park. And then when we were out there We got Patty one from Cades Cove.

They are both wood of course. Don't know how I feel about the aluminum ones you can buy.

There is a rain forest mountain range right behind our house. I usually take my dogs for a walk up there. Even on a short, one hour walk I carry a safety whistle and a GMRS radio. You never know when you might have a fall and injure yourself.

I have a couple of aluminum walking sticks but I never seem to remember to carry them. I always just end up with a stick made from a stick. laugh

BTW, we took his Moonstalker out for a spin tonight. I may post a video if I can get around to it. My impressions are that this is a BEAST of a blade. Fit and finish could be a bit nicer, but at its price point, I cannot think of another blade that would be better. Nothing a little sandpaper can't fix in a couple of minutes. GREAT heat treat and the wide quarter inch thick blade has a great weight-forward design, making it a MUCH better chopper than the 911 or the Rodent 9. Not a fan of the false swedge--beats up your baton pretty good. But like I said, hard to beat for the price

Haha Heehee

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below.

She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.”

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.”

She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.”

“I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?”

“Well,” answered the balloonist, “Everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.”

The man smiled and responded, “You must be a Democrat.”

“I am,” replied the balloonist. “How did you know?”

“Well,” said the man, “You don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You’ve risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem.”

“And You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it’s my fault.”

Isn’t that the truth!

Actually I think she must have been a Blonde. wink

Well it is morning. Don't know what I did last night getting ready for work, but I reached behind me to tuck my shirt in, heard two pops and now I can't raise my arm up unless it's bent.
