AND I still need to figure out which optic to run. One of the Vortex reflex sights or the Spitfire.

Are you going for looks or functionality?

I use the sights that came with it instead of optics. To me this is not a long range rifle but rather a home defense rifle.

Are you going for looks or functionality? A Little bit of both. I want it to be simple/functional and I don't want a big ole ugly blob hanging off it and I consider a light a must have for nite time duty.

Good points. Have you thought about a laser instead of optics?

Laser, YUP. That's why I put a rail on the right side of the forestock. I eventually plan (HOPEFULLY) putting a laser there so You you wouldn't need sights or a light. Just flip the switch, point and shoot.

My ultimate goal is a white light AND a laser and some kind of an optic, either red dot reflex or red dot sight.

Works well too. And with specs up to .357 magnum it should work great on a little 9mm.
