Too late. I spent my money on a new gun. I can wait another month or two for the knife to be released. Haha... what did you end up getting? I've been looking at a Ruger Security Six (2.5 barrel, stainless) for a few weeks. I really want to pop on it soon.

I've been looking at a Ruger Security Six (2.5 barrel, stainless) for a few weeks. I really want to pop on it soon. Got a VEPR in 7.62x39. It should be in tomorrow. You should go with the Ruger. It could be weeks before you see any new steel.

Very nice Hobbes I have been looking at the 308 version. The ones I have seen in wood are amazing looking and quality wise.

From everything I've read about them, they are the way to go if you want an AK. I only had a choice between the 39 or the 54R so I went 39. I'll let you know how it shoots after the weekend.

The 54r would be a beast but the 39 is more practical.
