I've been gunsmithing AKs for almost 5 years now. It is in my opinion, without a doubt one of most enjoyable and versatile platforms to run. Congrats on the new purchase! I'm taking your advice and going for the Ruger tomorrow.  Do you have any experience with VEPR's? I have some questions if you do.

I already have the inverter, and the panels will arrive next week....along with my B-8's! (I HOPE!)

I am all about the solar panels. It was nice and sunny today so I charged up a few solar watches, a couple solar lights and some other gear with larger solar panels today.
I could stay fairly comfortable without electricity.

As awesome as the new Dogzilla, or Curr-ambit, or choppy, stabby, pointy, sharp thing is, looks like I'm probably passing....kicking myself, but passing. Can't really think of any knives or guns I have left that I'd want to sell, and not seeing any unknown wealthy relatives kicking the bucket and leaving me untold millions happening any time soon
