I love the rifle, but I'm gonna find a different sight. I don't know what is going on with it, but it'll go off after 5-6 shots and you have to turn it off and back on.

I've cleaned the contacts and changed the battery, it's still doing it.

Plus I want one that will co-witness with the front sight too. It's throwing me off having to ignore the front post and not try to line up the red dot on top of the front sight

Either that or take the front sight off and just put a plain gas block on it.

You might look at the Vortex spitfire. I like the fact that it has the reticle etched on the prism so it's visible an any ambient light (like a regular scope) without turning the optics on.

Only thing is, for that much money I'm almost into Eotech territory. And that's what I really want.

It ain't cheap, but I've seen it for 299 or less.

I shot one with an Eotech a while back and loved it. Really made a believer out of me about the holographic sights
