A puukko by Pasi Hurtilla , been wanting to get one by this maker for a long time Lower one in this pic, now the wait for it to get here... Beautiful, I have been drooling over some knives by Mikko Inkeroinen myself. My concern would be having wet hands and sliding off that handle straight down onto the blade !

As we discussed at the last Sip-N-Talk, the next offering is going to be a knife with a popular handle, .150" to .200" thick and made of 5160 steel.
Led with the crescent and hung as needed. The hunter should enjoy this blade as well as the person who needs to clear that which impedes their path.
The knife will be offered on the Scrap Yard Shopping Cart and a special price will be offered to any Dog that is in good standing on the Scrap Yard Forum
Lead time to offer...2 Weeks

Are those puukko handles made of bakelite? It looks a lot like the old vz-58 handle and foregrip material and the ak bayonet handles I saw in the sandbox.

I don't know about that particular brand, but Helle uses mostly birch I believe; at least that's what mine has.
