Hard part of all this is when it rains it pours. Never had the chance to get the SR-101 blade back in the day, now I jump on this Regulator. No sooner than I do that do I see a post for a Safety Mutt (Mutt is on top of the list of SY knives I like) for sale at an outrageous price. Couldn't swing it with this one too . . . at least it went fairly quick and did not tease me long.

Who is it. I could have sworn David Brown had a HG version.

Welcome to the Yard! Don't give in to the high prices. You can find knives that are sold very close to the original shipped cost by some good guys on the Busse-kin sales forum. If I had a spare, I would sell it to you. I'm always trying to spread the knife fever.

Mashed Cat, Brown site doesn't list one on hand. I do have a Brown for my Bradford Guardian3, he does great work.

Just need to save a bit and hold out for a Mud Mutt. I think the green in the Mud Mutt handle will be the same as the green in my new Regulator.

I'm pretty sure Dave has one.
Eric (Mashed Cat) does excellent work. You won't be disappointed!

There are some really great kydex sheath makers that frequent the Yard. They can probably make a sheath thay fits with only a yard stick and a hair dryer.

Congrats on the new regulator. The hollow ground parkerized regulator is the nicest of the bunch IMO. There used to be a list of sheath makers here, but here is one that has been here a while and does a great job. http://www.scrapyardknives.com/sheath-options/

What threw me off on the Brown site is he refers to it as a "Texas" Regulator parkerized version. Now I know that it is the same as the Regulator I have. Thanks again all.
