There were no other patrons; Busse rents out the entire restaurant for the Customer Appreciation Dinner.

Goooooooooooooooooooood morning Scrap Yard. In my postings I forgot to mention that Cold One and I had a discussion with Jerry Busse (Dan couldn't make it :() and expressed our concerns about the Yard. Jerry said that Dan has been totally wrapped up with a military contract order, but really wants to get back to the Yard and the original way of business. So, we just have to be patient a while longer; remind me that I said that!

Not good news for me though. I will be 69 years old next month. So, I looked up the charts and my life expectancy is 79 years old. It looks like I won't be around for the new release.

The General has met Lexi, Pokey, and Lora, along with Amy-0 and likes them all. I don't think she's too worried about any of those lovely young ladies chasing after a tired old man.  But I sure enjoy seeing them, even if it's only for a couple of days each year!!!
