Gooooooooooooooooooooooood morning Scrap Yard!
Another Blade Show is history, and I had a great time. It was great to see Cold One again and hang with him, as well as meet so many fellow Dogs like Al and DeeAn Welke...they are a terrific couple! It's always fun to see some of the "old-timers" as well as guys normally seen only on the forum. The Vikings from Busse's B/F site were there, and Rasmus did us all proud with his longest ash win and 80's costume score! You should see the winning costume...George from the B/F site showed up as "Cousin Eddie" (portrayed bt Randy Quaid) from the movie "Christmas Vacation"; he DESERVED the win and $1,000.00 shop credit!!!
I wore a wig and taped-on moustache, along with a Detroit hat and Cross of Lorraine ring, had a mini-recorder with the Magnum p.i. theme, and a matchbox Ferrari 380GTS; I was going as "Magnum p.i."....short version.
Well, the lady sitting at the table next to me...Shiela... started laughing and said I looked like Ron Jeremy. I didn't know who she was talking about until we Googled his name early this morning; he was an 80's porn star!
Interestingly enough, Jerry Busse knew who he was because when he was announcing the costumes he said I was either Ron Jeremy or Magnum p.i.

Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and all participants received a $100.00 shop credit.

As I didn't get home until after midnight last night...almost an 8 hour wait at the Atlanta airport due to weather delayed back-ups... everything has to be later today. So, see ya'll later with pics!
