We got our showers in before it was too dark, then ate some dinner while listening to the radio. The juice came back on before I needed to hook up a power inverter to a 12 volt battery and light.

We had power but Patty was gone with her sister before I got home and she didn't get back until after 1500. I was alone all day and it was scary!  Scary??? Even with all your Dogs and other stuff?

You hear about the attack on a Dallas Police HQ? Yes; apparently the main cause was a child custody dispute he blamed on the Police because they had accused him of being a terrorist.

You're right about getting old. The other day I walked home from the mechanics (about half a mile) and my hip started acting up (I have spinal stenosis(?) and I didn't think I was gonna make the last two blocks.
