[censored], what did you do to the edge? I guess I sort of screwed it up a lttle. It has a slight serpentine shape now. You would not believe how much steel I had to remove to get a good finish. This was all done free hand. I did the final edge with 180, 400, 15u, and final polish with 9u belt. Then I used leather and some polishing compound.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Ken Onion does not feel this shape is a screw up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I just made the comment because the edge bevel appears so much broader now.

[censored], what did you do to the edge? ...I just made the comment because the edge bevel appears so much broader now. Oh, I thought you were referring to my unintentional slight recurve. The edge really isn't that radical when you consider that it is convex and that the blade is so very thick. This is what I used to polish the edge. Cold One turned me on to the supplier for these. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Mutt024.jpg) This knife will slice pretty good now, for a sharpened crowbar! ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Mutt025.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Mutt023.jpg)
