I'm working on affording one lol. The rifle is that bad by itself. It's getting glass to match what the rifle can do that starts to hurt badly

The burris XTR II scopes are amazing for the money. I just picked up a 3-15 for my long range AR. Id consider a more powerful model for this.

Do you plan to use it as a bench gun? If it were me I'd go with the 6.5 Creedmoor.

6.5 has great ballistics, but .308 is hard to argue for a number of reasons IMO.

I agree. But I can't see myself using this rifle for anything other than a bench gun and ballistics would be all I'd want out of it.

And for the record, I own 3 rifles chambered in .308 Win. It is one of my favorites.

It will be used mostly for target but it will be my big bore hunting rifle pending me keeping my ruger GSR. That has a 16in barrel in .308

The problem is I want the .308 model and 6.5. Booth will outshoot me and my knowledge level.

stick with .308, GD.
