I actually finished a new design yesterday and I will be making it out of 1095 that I found in the warehouse...tHis should be fun

I would have expected the same not having had one until trying the wine float, but I was amazed that it actually went down pretty smooth and didn't leave me sick oddly enough. Try it…. smile

VERY cool!

With using a different steel, like 1095, do you use a different heat treat protocol or do you still aim for that 58-60 RC sweetspot?

Worth every hour in the hunt. 4 weeks ago I was working outside, it got hotter than heck and I slugged down three of them since they were ice cold...I then took the best nap in a long time on a Sunday afternoon smile
