Cool toys, but FYI, that’s considered disrespectful to the flag. Your not supposed to lay it flat, have it touch anything below it, or place anything on it.

Flag Etiquette
STANDARDS of RESPECT

The flag should not be used as a drapery, or for covering a speakers desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general. Bunting of blue, white and red stripes is available for these purposes.

Flag Rules and Regulations

The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.
United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1 — The Flag
§8. Respect for flag, section b

The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.
United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1 — The Flag
§8. Respect for flag, section c

The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.
United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1 — The Flag
§8. Respect for flag, section g

The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.
United States Code Title 4 Chapter 1 — The Flag
§8. Respect for flag, section h

I appreciate the reminder on flag etiquette but I think you have to also look at the intent and spirit of the subject.

I respect anyone who shows the flag and stands up for it.

Dan

I'll handle them, I just don't have to have an educated discussion with them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah - I couldn't handle them physically or mentally. Imagine sitting between the two of them while they talk...
