So far I am not a fan. Most of the main characters are unlikeable.
This may be a huge flop.

The only part I liked,, is that is shows the very beginning,,, which is interesting to see since the original series started way after. I hope to see two things in this series.. 1) How the 'virus' started... and 2) a connection with the Walking Dead,, maybe a cameo or something...

I guess I just don't care for the "typical urban family" depicted in the show.

I'm willing to give the show another couple of episodes, hoping that it improves.

Yeah... The Wife and I watched the pilot last night and our thoughts were along the same lines. I think their choice for the "Average Family" was interesting to say the least... Neither my Wife nor I like any of the main characters, and the story was painfully s-l-o-w moving. We're going to give it a couple episodes too, and hopefully the story gets better and the characters improve.

I am curious as to how the show will deal with the enormous population (over 4 million people) in LA. This comes out to over 7,000 people per square mile in the city of LA alone. LA county has well over 10 million people. It might make it difficult to move around. In contrast, Atlanta has less than 500,000 people.
