you registered here quite a awhile ago! Nov 2006.. but you're right.. Dog Father sold Out in like 3-1/2 days! it was an experience that's for sure!
Well.. we know it'll be released eventually as Dog Father LE w/ satin finish.
Don't miss it! or you'll Kick yourself Later!
There will be lots of chatter near release time.. if you can't be on during the release window.. there's a bunch of gentlemen here that'll often step up to watch your back or act as proctors.. Good bunch of folks here at the Yard! I will do everything in my power to get a DF LE, ya I did register quite some time ago, but of coarse life and everything else bla..bla..bla, I have been pretty busy and of coarse forgot my password, got that worked out and here I am talking shop with you good people <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> now its time to pursue my interests.

Speicher - the black DogFather will be re-release, we just don't know when. The Limited Edition DogFather (DFLE) should be here relatively soon though.

Welcome.
My experience with SR101 and SR77 is mainly with smaller blades and my SR77 experience is not all that much. That being said, I have not noticed any major differences between the 2 steels. The res-c is my favorite handle material for sure.
